Feature debut KAJ + ESTER FOREVER hits cinemas across Slovenia

After a long and complicated post-production phase, our next feature film Kaj + Ester Forever finally premiered last night with two sold out screenings in Cineplexx Ljubljana. The screenings were followed by a presentation of the entire cast & crew, including the director Tosja Flaker Berce and the lead actors Katja Predan and Bojan Cvjetićanin.

The film – which was originally conveived as a 6-part television series – was shot in the Summer of 2021, amid the 2nd wave of the covid epidemic and subsequent lockdowns, and took merely 19 days to shoot with a cast of young and up-and-coming talent. The project was supported by the Slovenian Film Centre and is a co-production between Temporama and Gliser, Arkadena, NuFrame, and 001.

Kaj + Ester Forever is distributed by Gustav Film, which plans to release the film in all major Slovenian cities in the following weeks, including most of the theatres that are part of the Slovenian Art Cinema Association. The films is already playing in most of the Cineplexx multiplexes across the country as of this weekend.
