CONSEQUENCES wins 5 awards at the 21st Festival of Slovenian Film
At this year’s Festival of Slovenian Film which ran from September 10th until September 15th our feature film CONSEQUENCES, coming straight from its World Premiere in Toronto, has won five awards at the closing ceremony on Saturday. The awards include:
- Vesna award for Best Direction (Darko Štante)
- Vesna award for Best Actor in a Leading Role (Matej Zemljič)
- Vesna award for Best Actor in a Supportin Role (Timon Šturbej)
- Audience Award
- Slovenian Film Critics’ Jury Award
We of course consider this a great success and are beyond happy and thrilled. Following this mind-blowing story we’re also happy to announce the date of our Slovenian theatrical premiere which will happen on October 18th at Kolosej in Ljubljana with a special pre-premiere gala event hosted by the Slovenian Film Centre and Cankar Hall on October 10th. More dates for local premieres throughout Slovenia will be published soon!

Apart from domestic distribution in Slovenia the film is also still going strong on its festival tour with screenings at Jameson CineFest Miskolc IFF (September 18th through 20th), Athens International Film Festival (September 20th through 24th) and BFI London Film Festival (October 17th and 18th).
